Description

The 3D printer allows users to create three-dimensional objects from digital models by depositing melted plastic layer by layer.
It’s the perfect tool for rapid prototyping, model making, and mechanical design projects.
Students use it to validate designs, test concepts, or fabricate replacement parts quickly and affordably.

Recommended Materials

  • easy to print, great for most prototypes
  • strong and flexible for functional parts
  • for more durable or heat-resistant pieces
  • flexible and elastic material

Safety Rules

  • Keep hands away from the nozzle and heated bed
  • Do not leave the printer unattended during the first layers
  • Ensure ventilation during long prints
  • Report any nozzle jams or filament issues to staff

  • Prototype parts and mechanical components
  • Educational models and teaching aids
  • Artistic or decorative objects
  • Replacement parts for lab or robotics projects
